I deleted all posts but the first one and am going to restart my blog. This should be fun...
I really don't have anything else to say, it's 3 :30 in the morning and I should have been asleep 4 hours ago. Aren't I great?

I made a blog! Isn't it just lovely? I am Caitlin Kayz. I enjoy writing original fiction, and fanfiction. But only Harry Potter fanfiction. It is the only fandom I am currently comfortable with. I may try to weave myself into other fandoms in the future; there are quite a few shows I watch weekly, but not well enough to participate in a fandom. Either that, or the show has not become big enough to be a franchise yet. I know enough of Twilight to join the fandom, but I'm not exactly a fan. I don't like the writing; it isn't very good in my eyes. Those are the only series I read, the other books that I really like are only single books, and not popular enough to have a decent fandom.
I could probably join the Degrassi; The Next Generation fandom, I've seen every episode. But this new season is bugging me. They changed the opening credits, and they are really horrible now. I especially hate that instead of Marco with 'Degrassi' on the back of his shirt, they have Jane. He's been doing that since the third season, it is his 'thing'. And the music, well do not get me started on that. I preferred the children's choir from seasons 3 through 5 (at least I think it was 5). Plus Ellie, Paige, and Marco are no longer main characters, which is ridiculous. Marco hasn't gotten his happily ever after with Dylan yet. I am fine with them ending the show after this season, just as long as they bring back Dylan. They belong together. Plus, another gay character would be nice. They claim to be the show that 'goes there', but recently they are only recycling old plots, or bringing new boring plots. They've only ever had one gay (male) character, and they ended Paige's lesbian relationship last season. I liked Alex, I wished she could have stayed. Anyways, I hope Paige ends up with Spinner (if she cannot be with Alex), Marco ends up with Dylan, they bring in a new gay character, and we see lots of Jimmy. Ellie would be nice too. I like the original characters, most of the new ones get on my nerves. Holly J anyone?
Sorry, sort of rambled there. Other shows I watch include Desperate Housewives, CSI, Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, Brothers & Sisters, Gossip Girl (occasionally), How I Met Your Mother, The Ex-List, and Pushing Daisies.
Back to the point of this post, my main fandom is Harry Potter, which is why I reside at fictioncentral.net/hpforum under the username x0xcaitlinx0x (the 0 are numbers, not letters). That is the forum for the fanfiction site harrypotterfanfiction.com, where I reside under the same username. They are pretty much the only sites I go on, except when I search google and the online thesaurus. I enjoy making graphics on photoshop... one day I will become an artist on the Dark Arts Forums, which is a sister site of HPFF for graphics. They have an original fiction sister site as well, but I do not post my original fiction, because I hope to get it published one day.
I am participating in NaNoWriMo this November, also known as National Novel Writing Month. I reside there under the username catcher.cat and this is my second year. Though last year hardly counts because I failed miserably. I was not good at deadlines before, but I have gotten better, and plan to actually complete the 50 000 words this year. Wish me luck!
I think that is all, at least for now. Oh, and for any fellow HPFF's, start reviewing for Review-A-Thon. The games begin now... well an hour ago... so go...
